Sunday 2nd May
This four hander was held on a bitterly cold, but dry day, and was a World Qualifier for National Bangers under 1800cc, which attracted 30 cars including six visiting Midnight Runners, and debuts for 256 Ben Teakel, 35 Tom Major, and a one off return for 58 Martin Dalton. Teakel took home a huge Bluebird wreck, and Major took a big head on with No Show to complete the DD. The real shock of the day was James Charles, who took a Heat and Final win, flattering his choice to carry the Thunderpix onboard camera!

On a day that felt much more like August than April, the third meeting of the season at Mendips Raceway saw the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars appear in good numbers along, likewise with the National Bangers and Special Rods.
For the F2 Stock Cars it was their first Championship title race of the season, with the ‘Nationals’ coming back to Mendips for the second time in its history and the first time for five years.
