Mendips Raceway’s Impact Squad won the 2010 Nation Bangers Team Championship at Hednesford, Cannock raceway on Sunday June 13th.
Although the entries were well down on previous years, the six man team comprising Steve Griffin(44) James Charles (7), Jon Quinn(242), Dean Quinn (27), Rob Bevan (49) and Kenny Dalton (458) won an emphatic victory over two strong sides of Scrapyard Screamers.
It was not all plain sailing however, as Kenny Dalton was knocked out in the Final after a head on crash, but has thankfully recovered.
The Team will have a lap of honour at the Mendips Raceway on Sunday June 27th at the Summer Open meeting, to show the local fans their trophies.
