Following recent Government press conference, and with the rapid progression of the spread of the Corona Virus, we are unfortunately put in the position to postpone this Sunday’s race meeting.
The Race Meeting will be rearranged for a future date, but meanwhile we feel it would be irresponsible to run in the current uncertain state. Based on the Virus’ rapid growth in the last 48-72 hours, we feel it necessary to take the appropriate action following advice from the Government and other promoters.
Whilst we understand it to be disappointing and frustrating for drivers, staff and fans alike, our highest priority is to ensure the safety of all who attend our meetings throughout the year; and with high strain on public services due to the spread of the virus, it would be irresponsible to race.
Please continue to do what you can to help prevent the spread of the virus, and please follow advice provided from The Government and Health Experts for not only your own well-being but the health of others around you.
We will continue to keep you updated on future events and the rescheduling of this meeting and future meetings.
