Raceway Access IMPORTANT

All drivers and Spectators visiting the Mendips Raceway in the next twelve weeks should be aware that a section of road known as Shipham Hill will be closed for repairs and resurfacing.

This is the road that leads from the Crossroads Filling Station at the end of New Road, Cheddar, past the quarry and up to the Lilypool Cafe.

This affects anyone travelling from the Wells direction, or those who usually travel from the A38 through Axbridge to access the Raceway. 

Access to the Raceway from the A38 and Lilypool, via Shipham remains open. Diversion signs are in place.
