Hot Rod fans will be delighted to know that Colin White (718) WILL be racing at the Mendips Raceway on Sunday March 31st.
Despite racing in the Ginetta GT series at Oulton Park in Leicester on Monday, and practicing on Friday and Saturday, Colin is planning on returning to his Glastonbury base on Sunday to contest the annual CWS Mears Trophy.
There has been an upsurge of interest in Hot Rod racing this season, with Mike Loosemore (780) returning to the Outlaw Hot Rod circuit, with Mike Hibbert from Cornwall, and local driver Simon Harroway (3) planning to race in both Special Rods and Hot Rods this weekend. Simon has a unique new shape Mini bodied car which he recently purchased. New cars too for Steve Hunt (282) and Larry Langmead (18)
