National Banger Teams-Hednesford

At the National Banger Teams meeting at Hednesford, Staffs, on Sunday June 13th,  the All Blacks team, consisting of all Mendips Raceway drivers, took part. Sam Trim(363) Martin Dalton(58) Steve Griffin(44) all scored well in their heats, with second, third and  fourth places, and the team went into the Final in second place to the London based Condoms team, led by the Davies brothers. In a very heavy Final, the result of the day was not decided until the very last bend, when Trim, who was leading, slowed for a pile up and was overtaken. The results was a win for the Condoms by four points from the All Blacks, and the Cornish team, Renegades making third place.
