Welcome to The Champions weekend, proudly hosted by Mendips Raceway as we host not one but two World Championships.
Saturday night sees the V8 HotStox complete the race for the gold roof, after several qualifying rounds, the grid is set. There will be a grid walk available for all V8 fans to get any merchandise or programmes signed. Also Saturday night sees the return of the ORCi Ministox, with a strong field of cars featuring newly crowned British Champion 475 Mason Sealy as well as fellow star drivers 202 Cody Bradford and 207 Alfie Flecken. Rounding off an excellent line up is the Mark Loader Roofing Special Rod Summer Series that concludes Saturday night, with current leader 278 Andrew Bressington and second place 445 Nik Loader heading the booking list.
Sunday we host the highly anticipated National Bangers World Championship for 2024, with an 80 car strong line up of drivers this is sure to be a cracking meeting. Former 2l Banger World Champion 178 Keiran Bowman will be leading Trackstars challenge, meanwhile representing Spedeworth will be reigning champion 67 Rickie Beasley and
739 Jason Moore. Autospeeds seeds are 3 strong including last years 3rd place 842 Jack Perkins. 318 Wilf Speak and 73 Jon Hodgson are booked to visit as the pink cars represent GMP, and our home hopes lie with a trio of BRCM 252 Boogie, 262 Roona and 440 Big Mac, 154 Joe Odhams former driver of the year holds an automatic seeded place, as well as father and son duo Jason 86 and Liam Harvey 87 will look to beat the rest to the chequered. Speaking of a family affair, Brad 961 and Abbie 962 are representing team Deeprose this year. Supporting the Bangers is the ever entertaining Saloon Stock Cars with home town hero Irish Champion Buster Jnr 902 leading the bookings, as well as newly crowned World Champion
720 Archie Brown.
Saturday gates open for drivers at 10:30, practice is from 12:30-2.
Spectators can enter through the bottom gate from 10:30. Racing starts at 5pm, there will be fireworks. The bar will remain open at the end of the meeting until 1am.
Sunday gates will also open at 10:30am for drivers and spectators, with practice available from 11:30am. Racing starts at 1pm. There will be fireworks.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, however hot/cold drinks and hot food is available at our food outlets, and the bar is open both days near the top turnstiles.
Disabled parking by race control is limited, and is first come, first served.
