To celebrate the racing season gone by, we host our Dinner Dance event each February in order to reflect on the highs and lows of the year gone by, this takes place at The Webbington Hotel and Spa, a prestigious building in which we took the evening to celebrate a truly fantastic 2018.
On display this year we had 4 fabulous cars, the Ex Rob Speak Bingley F2 of 134 Cameron McColm, a fresh built Ford Mondeo ready for the Banger World Championship from Points Champion 440 Macauley Mills, a brand new (and gold!) Reliant Robin from current World Cup Winner 26 Russ Gillingham and finally the sparkling refurbished RCE F2 of 275 Dale Edwards, ready to hit the raceway in 2019.
Following a fabulous 3 course meal, we engaged with our trophy presentations, in which we congratulated all of our winners through the racing calendar, congratulations to all, and begin the voting process for Driver of the Year which was one by none other than Robin Points Champion, and 4 times Caravan King Dean Quinn 27, a fantastic year and fully deserved. Just don’t tell him though!
As the night grew old the band and drinks were in full flow, a brilliant night ensued.. after a pause for the Raffle and a fantastic compilation video of the 2018 season, we celebrated the night away until the early hours!
Many Thanks to all that came, a fantastic night as always, based on the sore heads in the morning anyway, we are looking for fresh ideas for next year, so if you have any, let us know!
